week 21

Well, I can't seem to sleep much lately, and by that I mean I am totally awake after 8 hours. I don't know if that is a good thing, because I have more energy, or a bad thing because I still feel like I could sleep more if my mind would just stop running overtime. I have also been dreaming a lot more than I ever have in my entire life. The dreams are very vivid during slumber, but the second I wake up I forget virtually every detail.
I have a doctors appointment this thursday, it will be my 22 week check up. I will have my final ultrasound then too! I can't wait to see our baby again. I am sticking to my plan though and not finding out the sex of the baby. I want to be suprised after however many hours of labor, it will make it all worth it in the long run.
The dogs are still all over me. When I come home from work, they are more attached to me then they have ever been. They have always greeted me and wanted some attention, but recently they want constant attention all night. It is a bit wearing without DJ here to give them some attention too. Oh well; they must know that when the baby is born, they will not be getting the same amount of attention they are getting now, so they are trying to get as much as they possibly can now!!!

20 weeks

I seem to have finally gotten some of my energy back. I still have a hard time during the day if I don't take a nap, but atleast I don't feel like I am going to fall asleep standing up anymore! I have also been going to bed a bit earlier and trying not to take on anymore early morning clients, so I can sleep in until a reasonable hour. I am just thankful that I didn't have much nausea the first trimester, though there were a few days when the minutes crept by since I felt like my breakfast was going to come up. I am starting to get a little belly and most of my clothes don't fit anymore. I think my jeans would have fit longer if they weren't all straight leg, my hips seemed to be the first thing to gain weight. A lot of my shirts don't fit because my breasts have become ginormous and I know they will only get bigger. Well, here is to good cleavage!

I am currently 19 weeks pregnant with my first child. We couldn't be more excited to start a new pathway in life. We have decided not to find out what the baby's gender is so we are currently lovingly referring to it as "baby." Not original I know, but fun for now. I will keep updating regularly
